SHWDWN
SHWDWN is a first-of-its-kind mobile application purpose-built for performing artists to monetize their talent, expand their fanbase, democratize discovery, and open career opportunities.
I kicked the project off by an in-depth competitor analysis and extensive user flows and wireframes. Next up was the visual design phase, where I aimed for a sleek and modern look. Finally, I fine-tuned the designs based on real user feedback and handed them over to our dev team while sticking around to provide consultation.
Artists can submit their best videos to contests and showcase their talent to a global audience. With each contest, users can vie for recognition, valuable industry connections, and a chance to win lucrative rewards that support their artistic journey.
With the built-in video editor, artists can effortlessly create stunning videos directly within the app. The intuitive video editor empowers artists to bring their visions to life — reordering video clips, adding effects, text layers, and importing video clips or photos from their gallery or other social media.
Dark mode is a game-changer for night owl artists, offering a visually soothing and eye-friendly experience. With the dark color palette, artists can comfortably engage in late-night browsing, content creation, and contests, allowing their artistic brilliance to thrive even in low-light conditions.
